Description
My favorite time to shoot a coastal sunset is when there is a negative low tide and high clouds. When I shot this, the conditions were ideal. I always try to find a foreground element in my composition to add depth and interest to the image. I had to walk about a half a mile up the beach before I found these pools of water that were left from the receding tide. When I looked at the tide pools, it was like looking into a mirror. The blue sky and clouds were reflecting perfectly in the water. It was quite a sight to see. The beauty of nature never ceases to amaze me.
