The sun sets every single day, no matter where you are, but on this particular day, I was in Iceland. By witnessing the beauty and awe of nature, you can slow down your perception of time, and make life feel more satisfying than it would otherwise. By taking the time to gaze out into the vast landscapes before us, we get a sense of empowerment. Take time to breathe in the fresh air, to listen to the silence, to feel the cool breeze, to experience the moment, to appreciate and be thankful of life's gifts, and to stand in awe of God's magnificent creations.
Mahatma Gandhi could not have said it better: "When I admire the wonders of a sunset or the beauty of the moon, my soul expands in the worship of the creator."
