Description
After a nine hour drive from San Diego, I arrived in Page AZ. I parked in a sandy lot, packed up my gear, hiked up a steep hill, then down through the desert chaparral. Once I reached the bottom of the hill, I was presented with one of God's most incredibly wondrous sites......Horseshoe Bend. I very slowly crawled to the edge of the 100 story high shear cliff face. My hands were trembling and my heart was pounding because of my fear of heights and my perceived danger of how close I was to the edge of the cliff. I eventually calmed down, set up my camera, and was blessed with a beautiful sunset.
