After a very long and treacherous drive in the dark, on a deep muddy, frozen, snowy, and wet road, in the middle of a blizzard, we finally made it to White Pocket. As the sun started to rise, the snow blizzard stopped. Being my first time here, it was quite a spectacular sight. Billy and Dustin said they had never seen it like this before, with all the snow and pools of water. I felt blessed that I was there in such amazing conditions. I took this shot early in the morning with Billy behind me and Dustin to my right. We were all shooting the same spot but from different vantage points so as not to duplicate our comps. The reflection was like a mirror. The snow covered cliffs, clouds, and blue sky were reflecting perfectly in the still calm water. It was completely quiet, no birds, no nothing, other than the sounds of our shoes crushing the fresh snow. We shot for several hours, each going in our own direction.
